We particularly welcome members who are able to make an active contribution to the work of Regard. This might be through circulating news to other members on our e-groups, or representing the interests of the disabled LGBT community within local meetings, campaigns and consultations, or organising informal social groups - for example, agreeing to be in a local LGBT venue once a month so that members have someone to support them in 'coming out' on the scene or as disabled - or through joining our Executive Committee and helping with our national work. But we welcome ALL disabled LGBT people and our supporters to membership whether you can make an active contribution or not, and will give you free membership if you can't afford to pay.
Membership categories
Full Membership of Regard is open to disabled lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered people. NB: We don't need to know anything about your impairment; if you self-define as disabled then that is good enough for us.
Friends, supporters and allies are welcome to become Associate Members. Organisations and groups who support Regard's campaigning and other work can become Organisational Members.
